How do I obtain and maintain the CIC designation?

To earn your CIC designation, you must attend five intensive three-day institutes and pass comprehensive essay exams which immediately follow. All institutes must be completed within a five-year period. One CRM can be subsituted to complete the designation.  CICs are then required to attend either one regular CIC or CRM or a Ruble Seminar (offered to only CICs and CRMs who are dues paying members of the Socitey of CIC) each year thereafter.

All CICs are approved for state continuing education in all states.  Colorado specific CE is detailed below.  For CE for other states, call TCCO - (303) 512-0627 or The National Alliance - 1 (800) 633-2165 for details.
